The call itself
A prompt walks you through recording a short greeting. Then you start hearing greetings from other callers. Setup takes about a minute.
Your first name, your part of town, and what you are looking for. Twenty seconds is plenty. You can redo it whenever you want.
Evenings and late nights are the easiest times to find someone. Call at 10am on a Tuesday and you will hear fewer greetings.
Hang up. You do not owe anyone a reason. You can also block the caller so they cannot reach you again.
No. Any phone that makes calls will work, including a landline or an old prepaid handset. There is nothing to install.
Privacy and who is on the line
No. It is hidden from the moment you dial and there is no setting to find. Callers know only what you say out loud.
Real callers. No paid operators, no actors, no recorded voices and no bots. If a chat line will not answer this plainly, treat that as the answer.
Most are in the metro. The number works from outside the area too, but the line is weighted toward Atlanta.
